Who is OpusFab?

OpusFab Pte Ltd is the company behind the OpusFab platform, an instant-quote manufacturing service for custom CNC machined and 3D printed parts. You upload a STEP file, the platform reads the geometry, and you get a price with automated DFM feedback in seconds. The platform covers CNC machining, SLA and SLS 3D printing, and metal 3D printing, and checkout is fully self-service. The team is based between Singapore and China, with R&D and engineering in both countries. Production takes place in OpusFab’s own manufacturing facilities in Guangdong Province, China:

Why the structure matters

OpusFab owns its production facilities directly rather than brokering orders out to third-party workshops. That structure has practical consequences for your order:

• Pricing. Quotes are based on machine time and material cost at our own facilities, with no broker margin in between.
• Quality control. Parts are manufactured and inspected by OpusFab staff, to the tolerance and finish shown in your order summary.
• Lead times. Production is scheduled in house, so the lead times shown at quote and checkout reflect actual capacity on our own machines.

The Singapore office is the company’s legal and business home, while engineering and production sit close to the machines in China, so the team that prices your part is the same team responsible for making it.

Public holidays and lead times

Production follows the Chinese holiday calendar. Manufacturing and shipping pause around major Chinese public holidays, most significantly Chinese New Year, when factories and carriers wind down for an extended period. Quoted lead times account for scheduled closures, but if your order is time-sensitive it is worth checking the dates on Chinese public holidays before you order.
